UVC RADIATION IS DANGEROUS TO SKIN AND EYES.
UVC decontamination devices are equipped with germicidal lamps emitting 85% of radiation at 254 nm wavelength, invisible to the human eye. Exposure to UVC emission sources can pose risks to the eyes and skin.
Although UVC rays are absorbed by all surfaces and therefore very little reflected, there are always some risks during prolonged exposure to this type of material. It is therefore necessary to protect yourself from this radiation by using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) suitable for this type of exposure.
Operators must protect themselves from direct or indirect radiation.
